Easy. No, this does not involve towels. That crappy strategy will probably end up short circuiting your xbox 360 and breaking it for good. Plus its likely to cause and fire and is not a real solution (seriously people, towels?!).

This is something I recommend to everyone. You really don’t need to buy a new xbox 360 when you can just get a xbox 360 fix for the red ring of death.
You’ve all seen my xbox 360 for sale post and are wondering why in the world you would dish out some cash for a new xbox 360 when you could go to microsoft support. Well this is a good point but please realize there are limitations. So please go read the Microsoft policy so you know the ins and outs!
You guys will remember that I wanted to get some opinions going on about Halo Wars. For Halo Wars go ahead and read the IGN Review and you can see for yourself why they think its “impressive”. OK fair enough it did seem like a pretty cool looking game but a mon avis I can’t really say that Halo Wars is what I wanted it to be.
Luckily it wasnt from Bungie so it means that their epic next game is still in the works. But still, interesting enough is that people think we’re going to see more and more console based RTS. What do you think?
I saw the IGN review and it says the game is good and has earned a rating of 8.8, which speaks volumes about it. However, part of the rating is based off the fact that Halo Wars follows the Halo saga. That is, they’ve rated it very highly just because it appeases Halo fanboys.
The way I judge a game is exclusively through multiplayer and game longevity. The reviews all leave out info about multiplayer so I can’t really tell for myself wether or not its worth buying.
Pros and Cons of buying a PS3
The sequel to the very successful PlayStation 2 of the Play Station family – the Play Station 3 or PS3 was finally launched to the market late last year. Created to compete with seventh generation game console rivals Nintendo Wii and Microsoft’s Xbox series, the PS3 features online capability via its own official gaming service, the PlayStation Network.

The Cons
The top-of-mind concern of avid gamers on the PS3 is its expensive price. Priced much higher that competitor Nintendo Wii, the PS3’s advance features do not seem to be enough to justify its lofty price. With almost the same features as the Xbox 360 series, the PS3 seem to come across as over-priced. Even the PS3 sale price in some retail outlets would turn-off the more practical buyers. Pricing should definitely be improved for the PS3 for sale.
The new high-definition feature however only works best with higher TV models with at least 720p. No internal scaling seems to be available to convert it to its best quality of 1080p.
Another concern raised by its users is the limited number of downloadable content available for users. Its online store has been criticized not only about having scarce content but also about how difficult it is to navigate through the site and to click some important items in the online store.
Some complaints on how long it takes for system updates to finish were also mentioned by a number of current users.
Also, as the PS3 just started introducing its online gaming community, the PS family has yet to work hard to stand at par with the Xbox Live which has already been well-established. Given enough time, it can be expected that the PS Network would also make its own mark in the online gaming world.
