If you’re a serious gamer you should wear your xbox 360 down to the point where you get the red ring of death. How does one with an xbox 360 fix the red ring of death?

Easy. No, this does not involve towels. That crappy strategy will probably end up short circuiting your xbox 360 and breaking it for good. Plus its likely to cause and fire and is not a real solution (seriously people, towels?!).
